SPECIFICITY

This antibody recognizes linear (1->3,1->4)--oligosaccharide segments in (1->3,1->4)--glucans. It has no cross-reactivity with (1->3)--glucans. This antibody can be used with second stage, gold-labelled rabbit anti-mouse antibody for immunohistochemical studies

TITRE

Indirect ELISA titre against the following -glucan-BSA conjugates were: BSA-(1->3,1->4)--glucans 10ng/mL BSA-cellopentaose 200ng/mL BSA-laminarin >100,000ng/mL Antibody binding to the BSA-(1->3,1->4)--glucan conjugate was inhibited (50%) by G3G4G4G3G4G4GR (4.3x10-6M), G3G4GR (10-2M), G4G4GR (10-2M) and G3G3GR (no inhibition).
